THERYQ on C’est la Tech BB !
United in the fight against cancer
A spotlight on innovations in cancer treatment from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in France.

As part of World Cancer Day (February 4th) THERYQ were featured on regional television program “C’est la Tech BB !”.
The show, co-produced by C’est la French Tech Aix-Marseille and BFM Marseille-Provence, showcases promising innovations based the region and the people behind them. As part of their feature on innovations in oncology, THERYQ welcomed the C’est la Tech BB team into our office & factory to discover FLASH Radiotherapy.
Pioneers in FLASH Radiotherapy
To support the clinical translation of FLASH Radiotherapy, THERYQ is developing three devices integrating UHDR electron beam technology. The first of which was FLASHKNiFE, a mobile linac for ultrafast, superficial irradiation of cancerous tissues, which is featured at the forefront of the program. Also featured in this episode is FLASHDEEP, a novel linac using VHEE (Very High-Energy Electrons) technology that is currently under development by THERYQ together with leading clinical research centers. The increased energy of FLASHDEEP’s electron beam allows for deeper penetration within the ultrashort timeframe required to trigger the FLASH effect. Last but least is FLASHLAB, the latest addition to our portfolio of systems, for pre-clinical radiobiology research into the FLASH effect.
THERYQ are proud to be representing the Aix-Marseille region at an international scale through the power of innovation. Thank you to C’est la Tech BB for selecting THERYQ for the World Cancer Day edition of the show.
Disclaimer: Neither FLASHKNiFE nor FLASHDEEP are commercially available and have not been cleared for sale in Europe or the USA. FLASHKNiFE may be used as an investigational device where authorization has been obtained in the EU member state.
